Giving Back
A firm should be useful beyond its returns.
A founding belief
Britannica was built on the belief that the skills of finance — disciplined thinking, honest analysis, long horizons — are worth passing on. Giving back is not an initiative at the firm; it is part of how the firm understands itself.
Teaching what we practice
Members of the firm have mentored students and young people across the communities where we work and research — from primary schools to universities and entrepreneurship programs. The common thread is the same: showing people how disciplined thinking about evidence and risk can change what they believe is possible.

Backing the long fight
The firm supports medical research, including breast cancer research — a commitment we consider a permanent part of the firm's character rather than a campaign.
